Featured Artwork

My the latest gift/award was from Fine Art Connoisseur magazine as the Featured Artwork.  It was a great pleasure to be part of the show in Pawhuska, Oklahoma for the American Plains Artists and great fun to see the famous Mercantile right across the street from the art venue.

I’ve been so blessed to have so many opportunities.  My next great adventures will be in Tucson, then on to Maryland and then the Rockwell Museum in New York.

About hrkaiser

My passion is sculpting. I sometimes envision what it might have been like years ago when cowboy's drove cattle across this territory and living right here in Oklahoma, home to several historic cattle trails, including the famous Chisholm Trail, it is easy to imagine. I often find myself looking across the plains to see where the drovers might have made camp and bed down the herd for the night. Contact me at www.hrkaiserstudios.com. My fundamental inspiration springs from the people and places that surround me. My goal is to capture the layers of attitude, emotion and personality of cowboys in everyday life and translate that into a visual feast that appeals on a visceral level.
